This event was originally created as a project for a class I took at the University Of Illinois at Springfield. The goal
was to put together a fun-filled event day for the guests of the St. John's Breadline. My group and I decided to do a Fun
& Games Day in which we brought in old board games for the guests to play, and then about half way through the event we
did a drawing for prizes. The prizes we used were $5 gift certificates for McDonald's. We did one event day in November and
another in December. It was so much fun that I decided I wanted to try and keep the event going.

Mission
My ultimate goal is to make people smile, laugh, and have fun at the event. My more direct goal in making this website is
to try and get donations of board games, and volunteers to help out on game days.

Organization News
Hopefully, the next Fun & Games Day will be held on January 5th, 2008 (depending on if I can get enough games to hold it).
